Driver information center grand prix

Service manuals, electrical schematics and bulletins for to current GM vehicles.  · i have a pontiac grand prix, the driver information center, (the led read out that shows outside temperature, the odometer etc. has stopped working. My mechanic checked for blown fuses all were ok. He put a GM "TECH2" meter thing on the car and it said something to the effect that there was "no communication".  · My Driver Information Center (DIC) stopped working in my Pontiac Grand Prix. The fuse seems to be OK since the other lights are working in the instrument panel. The DIC isn't showing anything. Any advice on what the problem is? (BTW - I just had the heater core replaced, and thought that the DIC wasn't hooked back up, but it seems to be.
